For over 90 years, Colonial Bronze has produced the finest cabinet and architectural hardware available. They do not import finished hardware from overseas – they never allow anyone else to be responsible for the quality that bears the Colonial Bronze name. They control every aspect of the production and the level of quality that goes into their products, from start to finish. When you order hardware from Colonial Bronze, American craftsmen and women will do their best to deliver the finest products you can find anywhere.
Founded in 1927 by two Swiss-born toolmakers, Colonial Bronze is now a third-generation family business working from the same Torrington, Connecticut factory since 1930. Every piece starts as raw brass, mostly recycled, and the range runs from cabinet pulls, knobs and appliance pulls to towel bars, robe hooks, pivot hinges and shower door hardware. More than forty hand-worked finishes carry a lifetime guarantee against tarnishing, and because everything is made in-house, spacing, length and projection can be adjusted to within a sixteenth of an inch.
