Bradford Hardware

SPOTLIGHT

Fifteen years of hardware, hope & hard work.

We started Bradford after the 2008 financial crisis with a tiny showroom and a belief that thoughtful hardware deserved a real home in Vancouver’s design conversation.

WEST FIRST

A small beginning with a big vision

Bradford began in a small West First showroom shortly after the 2008 financial crisis. What started as a simple hardware display quickly became the foundation for something much larger — a business built on relationships, design, and a belief that details matter.

“We started Bradford with very little, but we believed in what we were building.” — Simone & Wes

Over the past 15 years, Bradford has grown from a small startup into one of Vancouver’s leading decorative and architectural hardware showrooms, representing brands and projects across the Lower Mainland and beyond.

Growing a family and a business

In 2010, Bradford moved into its next space just days before Parker was born. The early years were a balance of building a company while raising a young family — often at the same time.

What began as a small family business steadily evolved through long hours, strong relationships, and a deep connection to Vancouver’s design community.

“That’s me — nine months pregnant, sitting inside what would soon become our new showroom. We opened the doors just 10 days before Parker was born.” — Simone

ARMOURY DISTRICT

A Community we are proud to be a part of

Over the years, Bradford found its place within Vancouver’s Armoury District — surrounded by designers, makers, and creative businesses that helped shape the city’s growing design culture.

Being part of this community helped transform Bradford from a small showroom into a recognized destination for decorative and architectural hardware.

“Looking back after 15 years, we feel incredibly grateful for the people, projects, and community that helped us grow.” — Wes

FIR STREET

Our dream showroom

In 2019, Bradford moved into its current Fir Street showroom — a space that reflects everything the company had become after 15 years of steady growth.

Clean lines, natural light, thoughtfully selected brands, and a strong connection to Vancouver’s design community all come together in a showroom designed to inspire.

“To build something like this in Vancouver, surrounded by this community, feels incredibly special.” — Wes

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Hardware is the jewellery of your home.

Just like the jewellery you choose for an outfit — the piece that says something about who you are before you say a word — hardware is a daily expression of your style and personality. It’s the detail you reach for every single day. It should feel like a choice.
We want our clients to use design to express themselves. Every home in Vancouver deserves to feel considered and personal — spaces that reflect the people living in them, not just the trends of the moment. We feel genuinely responsible for contributing to that beauty, one home at a time.

FROM THE FOUNDERS

We're honoured to be part of Vancouver's design community.

Every day we’re inspired by the designers and makers who shape this city. We feel deeply proud to collaborate, contribute, and grow alongside such remarkable people.
And if we’re honest: we still can’t quite believe we get to do this for a living.
