Bradford Hardware is an authorized dealer of d line products. Based in Copenhagen, d line is a Danish design brand that has made architectural hardware since 1971, when architect Knud Holscher conceived its first coordinated line as modest design that is designed to last. The range runs from lever handles, pulls, cabinet handles and door stops to hooks, towel rails and taps, and the same characteristic d line curve appears in everything the company makes.
Most pieces are made from AISI 316 stainless steel or solid brass, offered in satin or polished finishes, with PVD colours in brass, copper, bronze and black bonded directly to the steel for a hard-wearing surface. Alongside the Knud Holscher collection, the catalogue includes designs by Arne Jacobsen, Tom Dixon and Bjarke Ingels Group. The company’s Re-handle service returns worn products to its own workshop for servicing, renewing the 20-year warranty each time and extending a product’s life to as much as 100 years.
